Discussion of sustainable development will be meaningful if putting well-being as an objective of sustainable development. Well-being widely discussed in the context of economics and psychology. This study, attempted to adding environmental aspects that can be used as the benchmark value of welfare. Environmental aspects that were examined in this study was the quality of neighborhood environment with the consideration that the residence is one of the basic necessities of life that must be met. Moreover, meet the needs of adequate housing has also become one of the indicators in the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study was conducted in Bekasi Municipality, which identified has a characteristic of rural-urban and growth of settlements and migration as well as dynamic. Through his model, can be obtained the methodology for evaluating a sustainability of human well-being that can complement Human Development Index (HDI) methods which has been used. Pearson correlation test, Mann-Whitney U-test, Pairwise comparison weighting methods, Stempwise multiple regression method, conversion and minimum maximum rules, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis has been used to examine and describe the variables forming the model. This model answer the research hypothesis that the quality of residence can be an indicator of sustainable prosperity. The results showed that the main factor for the quality of the living environment is a health and education as forming the human capital.
